About Cash For Junk Cars Cleveland Ohio

Who You're Calling

Cash For Junk Cars Cleveland Ohio buys vehicles that are done. Our office is at 815 Superior Ave E, Suite 1621, Cleveland, OH 44114, in the Superior Building between E. 9th and E. 12th. You call, we price the car, a truck comes out to get it, and you are paid before it leaves the driveway.

There is no middleman. Plenty of junk-car websites exist only to collect your phone number and sell it to whichever tow outfit bids highest, and that outfit still has to turn a profit after paying for the lead. That fee is paid out of your price. When you dial (216) 877-5003 you reach the company writing that check, so the figure we give you on the phone is the figure we planned on paying.

Why Downtown Cleveland

Connecticut Land Company surveyors laid the town out in July 1796 at the mouth of the Cuyahoga and named it for General Moses Cleaveland. The river gave the city its shipping, then its steel, and the mills that filled the valley south of Tremont put a generation of families into trucks and sedans that got driven until they quit. The 1969 river fire is the story everybody knows; the part that matters for us is that the city cleaned the river up, and the same valley now holds the recyclers that take the steel from the cars we buy.

The Superior Building we work out of went up in 1922, a 22-story Walker and Weeks tower that has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1991. From the lobby it is four blocks to the Cuyahoga County title office on E. 9th, which is why we know that office as well as we do. The highways fan out from here: I-90 across the top of the city, I-71 southwest to the airport, I-77 due south, I-480 along the suburbs. Every one of them is a route our flatbed takes several times a week.

What a Lead Network Costs You

A lead network bills its buyers per call it hands off, often before anyone has spoken to you. The charge comes off your price, and the cut usually shows itself at the last moment, when the driver standing on a Parma driveway tells you the number has changed.

We skip that layer. Whoever picks up at our office is the one setting the number, and the number comes from the car you describe. Describe it straight and it holds. Leave out the missing transmission and it doesn't, which is fair.

What Happens to the Car

Usable parts come off first: alternators, radiators, doors, wheels, the converter if it is still there. Fluids get drained and handled the way Ohio EPA rules require. The shell is weighed and goes to the recyclers in the industrial flats along the river, where it is shredded and melted into new steel.

You do none of that. You make one phone call, sign the title, and get paid.
